Some Quotes

"Bad habits are easy to form and hard to live with, but good habits are hard to form and easy to live with."

"Choice is more important than hard work."

"Everyone fails at times, and I myself am no exception. But, I cannot accept not trying."

"Take one coin from your wallet and invest it in your brain. It will eventually come to overflow your wallet."

Mentality, Good & Bad Times

In life, it is easy to overlook the fact that we have had more good than bad times. Why is that so? Because when we are going through the good times, the good times seems to pass by real fast. And when the bad times arrive, it just seems to take forever to get by. In those instances, all we have to do is just to adopt a change in mentality. Imagine your good times like a big circle, and the bad times are but a small little black spot in the big circle. Get the picture by now?

"There is no road too long for the man who advances deliberately and without undue haste; there are no honours too distant to the man who prepares himself for them with patience"

"If YOU know the road IS RIGHT, it does not matter how long the journey is, as long as YOU keep walking. Patience and perseverance IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS."

What Is A REAL Champion?

Is a real champion, one who completes a marathon of 42.195km? Or, is it the challenges that they face along the way?

To me, the real champion, is the one that persists and forges on ahead despite the odds. The odds can be as simple as the weather, the number of people blocking their way ahead, or, any recurring or fresh injuries they picked up before or in the course of the marathon itself. Of course the people who walk cannot be blamed, because, they too soldier on in their own way, and that is by walking. Distance often do not matter or too much because what is important, is that by walking, they too will eventually reach the finishing, and that patience & perseverance will see them through.

The most amazing champions in a marathon, are those who are there despite being challenged in one way or another, those who soldier on despite injury until they reach their limit and stop running, those who persist to finish despite carrying injuries or some other problems which they might be facing. Very often in life, we tend to forget that in the course of our life marathon, it is not the end result that is important. The end result is to look forward so that there is an aiming point, but the more important one is the process and what one goes through and learns from it.

Right here, I would like to compliment each and every soldier in us that forges on ahead despite the difficulties & challenges in the life marathon. Your persistence & determination in life is something that is very much equal to running the full marathon of 42.195km, and that of course I would like to urge each and every one of us to continue persisting because persistence overcomes all our shortcomings. Your spirit is worth complimenting and learning from, because many of us may not know or have forgotten that it is persistence that drives on the world's most successful people to eventual success despite the various falls and challenges they have faced in life. Although we all come from different continents, countries, cultures, have different skin colours, speak different languages, but still I would like to take this chance to really salute you and the real soldier in you, whether you are male or female.

Life, A Road Of Choices

Life, is always a road full of crossroads and choices.

To go for something that leads to my success & goals, or to go for something that I promised my friend that I would go?

The answer, straightforward. In some quarters it will offend him, but for the sake of my future, success & goals, I would have to go for the something that will lead me to my success & goals, something more relevant to what I am aiming at. Apologies, my friend..

Go Diamond!

What IF...

What would one do, if one had all the money and time in the world, but have only 6 months to live? Or, what will one do, if they are given $1 million, and if it is not being used, it will be taken away from them?

For me..

1) Send my parents on overseas trips, to places everywhere, anywhere. Where they have never been before, beyond their wildest thoughts! Travel with them as well, so that I can take the opportunity to help the poor along the way as well! On one condition: My name must be kept anonymous, only to be revealed when I am no longer around in this world!

2) Set up schools for the poor who are unable to afford the school fees in their own country. One condition here as well: Anonymity, to be revealed only when I am no longer around in this world!

3) Buy a big new house with new furniture so that my family and I can start over again and lead a happier life of being financially free and secure!

4) Help people (e.g. friends, relatives, other people) wherever I go and meet to be happy as well, because Success + Freedom = Happiness! So, therefore I will want them to be successful and free in life in as well!

5) Invest money in Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid and be a majority shareholder BUT not owner!

6) Meet Bill Britt and have my hands raised by him! Freedom!

Change

Change, is a long and painful process. To always live in the comfort zone is not a good thing. So here I am, in the long and painful process, trudging along and moving on. Imagine what it is like for me, going for about a decade plus without a single dream to my credit! But of course, while I must be positive, I cannot be too anxious in pursuing my dream! I must get my vertical alignment done up and well first, and for me that will definitely be a done deal! Spiritual and Family definitely will also be a done deal!

Next up, changing also refers to changes in mindset and thinking. Without the correct mindset, no change can be implemented. Nonetheless, I already know that I am starting to fly, and reaching my eventual goal will also be a DONE DEAL! GO DIAMOND!

A Beginning

Hello to all dear & respected readers, nice to meet all of you. Call me Ryan if you wish to, this blog, shall be the journal for my personal records for every step, big or small, happy or upset, that I encounter as I seek to be like the Eagle that soars to great heights and flies majestically in the sky! Once, I could only look up at the sky and wonder when I can be like the Eagle that soars and flies ever so majestically. Now, I know that I am on my way to achieving that goal with the newfound "wings" that I have discovered in myself.

So sit back, enjoy this wonderful and tremendous journey with me as I make the change with this blog as the basis of the records of my growth from a timid & cowardly chicken, to the Eagle that I have always wanted to be. In the meanwhile, do enjoy your stay here as I look to share with you what I go through on the path to success and freedom!
